Dr. Dave:
Dr. Dave is one of the most popular high-energy performers in Florida. Dr. Dave recently received the Reader's Choice Favorite Band Award from two Florida newspapers. His self-titled CD, on which he played all the instruments, and his new CD release, "BIG FISH - SMALL POND," have been extremely popular. If an instrument has a string on it, Dr. Dave can play it. In his dynamic high-energy show, the "Doctor" plays multiple guitars, electric fiddle, banjo, harmonica, and more while backed up by his "rockin" band. Dr. Dave's vocals are exceptional and extremely versatile to match the great diversity of his musical styles. Dr. Dave describes his music as "CountryGrassRock." Picture country-rock on steroids with an infusion of bluegrass banjo and fiddle. Dr. Dave has been the feature act at many major festivals, fairs, corporate events, and clubs, as well as performing at concerts with national artists such as Rick Derringer, The Greg Allman Band, ToTo, The Marshall Tucker Band, Cheap Trick, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Barbara Mandrell. If you like high-energy music from a star quality performer, you will love Dr. Dave!

A recording artist and touring musician since the age of seventeen, he has had stage time with countless musical luminaries such as, Brian Johnson (ACDC) Dickie Betts (THE ALLMAN BROS BAND) Steve Augeri (JOURNEY, TYKETTO) and many more. Tony has most recently been a member of ENIGMA, MELODIC MAHEM recording artists JULLIET, and now the Dr. Dave Band.
After his enlistment, he immediately hit the road and developed himself as a versatile electric and upright bassist performing in numerous groups and shows across the US until exiting the life on the road in 1986 after the final 2 year tour with the one hit wonder "Spiral Starecase ("I love you more Today Than Yesterday") In his post Navy music career, Joe has performed with vocal groups: Pied Pipers, Platters, Drifters, Diamonds, Sam & Dave, Four Aces, Shirrells, Spiral Starecase, backing vocalists including , Harry Connick Sr., Mel Torme (John Coliani), Jerry Vale, Mickey Rooney, Michael Andrew, Twinkle, Texas Playboys just to drop the names of his favorites…

Tom Haack

Drums
Tom knew around the age of 12 he wanted to be a drummer, banging on table tops, pots & pans, anything percussive. Also being influenced by many concerts he saw in his early teens. He enlisted into the Army at the age of 17 and was stationed at Ft. Hood, Tx., where he joined his first band "Razors Edge". Being Honorably Discharged in 1985, Tom was ready to go back home to Royal Oak Michigan to start his first band "Arcanum". He also played short stints with the bands "Eletric Theatre" & "Slave Nation". He moved down to Florida in 1990 and started playing with the band "Smokey Joe". One of the members of that band and Tom formed the band "Razing Cane". Tom was starting to get a name for himself around town and was asked to join the band "Dyersburg" which he played with for about 8-1/2 yrs. Tom had a chance this last summer to play some shows with the Dr. Dave Band, and has been the drummer for them ever since. Tom's musical influnces are pretty broad; he loves Rock & Roll, Funk, and the blues. For more musical history on Tom you can go to www.myspace.com/tshaack |
